Natural Resources

England has an abundant supply of coal, petroleum, natural gas, limestone, iron ore, salt, slate, lead, and arable land. Although coal is a very important resource to have, it is extremely harmful to the environment. The burning of coal plays a big role in air pollution because it relseases sulfer, carbon dioxide, and uranium into our air. England also uses its river systems as a hydroelectric power system. The pros to using water as a power is that there is no harm towards the environment such as pollution or deforestation.
