Human Environment Interaction

The Industrial Revolution, which began in the 1700s, was a huge impact on the world as we know it. Thanks to the Industrial Revolution, we now have anesthesia, photographs, phonographs, steam engines, and more. During that time period, Britain became very wealthy. However, along with the new industries, there was a lot of air pollution. English poet William Blake stated that the "dark, Satanic mills" spoiled" England's green and pleasant land."
